Three Ruby Links #6

If I were to recommend three Ruby articles published last week to read, here is what I would recommend.

If I were to recommend three articles published last week to read, here is what I would recommend:

Joey is doing a deep dive into Ruby internals starting from an error returned from Kaminary about can't dump anonymous module . This is a great debugging session presented step by step and at the end there are some important considerations for caching and debugging.

This is a fantastic tutorial by Ross. It provides a detailed explanation of how Web Push Notifications works and all the Ruby code samples you will need to replicate in your own Rails application. And yes, the demo works! A great read with a lot of things to learn.

Jon continues the series about Propshaft and even if I included already the other parts in the previous 3 Ruby links recommendations I cannot skip this one. It is again an easy to follow explanation of how Propshaft workers when using importmaps. I think the entire series if a must-read for anyone that prepares for Rails 8 “NoBuild” release.
